In Onkruid, Wildgroei Coven explores what it means to stand in their feminine power and deconstructs the figure of the “witch.” How does it feel to be allowed to dance only on the fringes of society, while deep inside you the magic awakens? To not only survive in a precarious situation, but to thrive and break traumatic cycles? In what way can the multicultural knowledge of their ancestors support them in this? This ancient wisdom is woven into their bones, as granddaughters of the “witches” that were burned and abused, but also as descendants of the “witches” that could not be destroyed. This knowledge is indelible. For many people, weed is something nasty. Wildgroei Coven rather sees it as something beautiful, filled with benefits, you can rather see it as sprawl.
